Every recruiter you talk to will tell you ‘It’s a tough market, tailor your CV to every role to stand the best chance’ so you spend endless hours tailoring your CV and writing a cover letter.
Then you hit ‘Send’ ……. and …… nothing …… again and again ……

A Smart CV was born from a simple yet powerful insight:

‘job applications shouldn’t be this complicated.’

We’ve navigated this and like many professionals, turned to AI for help but found the process frustrating – outputs weren’t always accurate, and you still have to manually copy text, format documents, save files, and track applications across multiple platforms and agencies.

Tom and I sat down with a software developer, and together we’ve designed and developed a solution – A Smart CV, a web-based platform that will revolutionise how UK professionals approach job applications.

Unlike generic CV builders, A Smart CV allows you to store your complete work history, achievements, and skills in one secure location. When you find a role you’re interested in, our AI analyses the job description and instantly generates a tailored CV that highlights your most relevant experience. Crucially, you can then edit it, adding your unique voice and style, and then, at the click of a button produce your CV and a cover letter.
